We use simplified reps in our assemblies to represent different configurations. We have many users doing many changes in these asms and was encouraged by PTC to set the default for our reps to Exclude to better control what was showing up in our reps. Problem is, when I want to switch a component with a similar one I have to update each of the simplified reps it was used in one at a time. I am looking for a way to change from one a component to another that uses the same references, while at the same time updating the simplified reps that the component was used in. Replace looks like it will update the rep if it is active but will not update the inactive ones in the same asm. Any ideas?
