Updating of models

Hello


There are two ways of updating models in proe.


1) via .. proe itself.. open the part file and update within the proe only


2) via.. Windchill (i am using windchill 9.1 along with creo 1.0 datecode M060).. where we select the models in our workspace and file --> update --> download --> ok..


Whats the difference between two?.. Any problem we face while using the first one??

First method will not reflect any changes for parts with updated changes or revisions because it will only look on your local drive.

They only changes that will be reflected is for parts that you have changed since checking out from your server database but not for any parts owned by other users.
