The addition of Define Regions to the Unite command is extremely useful however it seems to be rather unstable, Im fining more often that the region definitions arent being applied when the model gets updated after modifying upstream (often unrelated) features or parameters, sometimes defining seperate target/tool regions helps however I more often end up having to use delete face to remove the unwanted portions.

Has anyone else experienced similar?

If you have examples which, when edited, consistently show this behavior, please contact GTAC ASAP and have them open an IR/PR to look into what might be causing this. Since this is a new and not so obvious capability, actual user examples exposing issues like this would be greatly appreciated.

Will do, I have a work around for the mean time;

Edit with Rollback > Deselect erroneous region
Edit with Rollback > Reselect region to be deleted

Does take a long time though with all the features updating.

It always worked fine in CATIA :)
