Dear colleagues,

I got few questions and would appreciate your reply

For the UNIQUAC model
Water parmeters (1):
r= 0.92 and q = 1.14, q'=1.4
ethylene glycol parmeters (2)
r = 2.4088 and q = 2.2488, q'=0.4761 (could anybody confirm?)

I need to find the the binary parmeters (a12 and a21) at 30, 40, 55 and 70 deg C.

Any suggestions (articles, softwares etc)?

The DECHEMA data series books have data for this binary, together with regressed parameters. Aspen Plus likewise has a set of parameters, together with their range of applicability.

Thanks for the info
......dhchema wants $50 euro..........and I don't have Aspen.........any other source (handbook/website) that is cheaper or free?

Most university, and many company, libraries will have the Dechema books. Most public libraries (in the UK at least) will have a go at finding you a copy. Otherwise, is what you're trying to do really not worth 50 euro?

Try Perry's Chemical Engineers' Handbook, which is now on CD.
