Hi,
I am new to FEMAP. I have understood the meshing procedures. Now, when I am trying to analyse using contacts. I have run into problems .
I have taken two blocks as shown in the figure, I have constrained the biggest block and when I am trying to solve a static analysis. I have found the big block to be swinging.
Your help will be highly appreciated. I have uploaded the images
Thanks,
Isaac

Dear Isaac,
Post your FEMAP model here and we will take a look to it: the source problem could be for many reasons (for instance, duplicated nodes, duplicated constraints sets, etc..), without the model in hand is impossible to "adivine" the problem, OK?.
Best regards,
Blas.

Dear Isaac,
Please post the FEMAP (*.mod) file, not the nastran input deck, this way we will be able to replicate the problem.
Best regards,
Blas.
