UMAT or UDMGINI 1

Hi,

recently studying and working on the DUCTILE DAMAGE model as shown in picture

it got fracture strain, stress triaxiality, and strain rate. Also, has a subsection for damage evolution.

I'm wondering if this model could be substituted through a UMAT? Or need to combine with the UDMGINI?

UDMGINI subroutine is used to define damage initiation criteria and works only with XFEM elements. For other purposes you would have to use UMAT.
