I am currently machining UHMW sheet into bushings at a high cost. I make the same bushings out of PVDF, PP , PE in a injection mold. I have recently heard of a injection moldable UHMW from Ticona (GUR 5113 & hostaloy). Does anyone know anything about quality/processing of these materials?

Ticona should have a clue about that.

You can also injection mould X-linkable PE. It can be easier to mould, depending on the part design. UHMW can be very (even extremely) difficult to push in the mould.

thanks
so far ticona has been hard to reach, but i keep trying.
The crosslink PE you spoke of, do you know any suppliers/trade names??

Not from memory.

Maybe Solvay.

Google should help. Try Cross linked PE also try Xlinked PE and XLDPE
