Type B Air Meters

When calibrating the Type B Air Meter, if the Initial Pressure (IP) Line is higher than 5, can the gauge be reset or does it have to be replaced? The IP line fluctuates with seemingly every calibration, which is performed every three months, and sometimes it goes beyond 5, which is not recordable. Normally I would replace the gauge.
 
Some units have adjustments that can be made. Check the manual on your meter. Our gauges have an adjustable Zero mark, but this is for when you are testing extensively in a specific range.
