DEAR COLEAGUES
WHICH PATTERN OF FLOW IS PREFERRED FOR TWO PHASE FLOW, IN VERTICAL AND HORIZONTAL LINES, I KNOW MUST BE AVOID THE SLUG PATTERN, BUT I AM NO SURE ABOUT THE OTHERS, Bubble, Plug, Stratified, Wave, Annular or Mist for Horizontal flow and Bubble, Slug, Froth, Annular or Mist for vertical flow.
what are the disadvantages of each one, and how is affected the hydraulics and design of the pipe.
thanks in advance.
