Hi
I work in a petrochemical company and my job is the water treatment of cooling waters. My problem is formation of two-phase flow in corrosion coupon racks. How can I stop it?
More information:
1- the fluid is water with little hydrocarbon
2- hydrocarbons flashes and make a lot of bubbles
3- water enters the rack at pressure 0.5 barg and goes out at 0 barg

Dear sina27sh,

Why do you want to stop it at all? That is what is happening inside your cooler. If the cooler is leaking, do the needful.

Regards.

Well all you can do is de-gas the incoming fluid by sending it through a vessel where the velocity drops and allows the gas bubbles to exit out the top or increase the pressure in the units to above the gas breakout pressure.

Or remove the hydrocarbon before it gets to your equipment.

You will need to give us something more to work on here.
