Turn off copy Object Attributes

Hi,
I have an existing solid with faces and edges that have different Object Attributes.

When I link the solid or use the solid to subtract, the object attributes are copied to the new object. Is there a way to turn this off?

Is there a journal to delete all the object attributes in a file?


I'm using NX 6.0.5.3 with TC 8.3.3.8

Try going to...

Preferences -> Modeling -> General

...and adjusting the Face Property settings.
