I came of with an Idea to have a dual stage Intake manifold. Using a verticle motion ''shut door valve'' on the high R.P.M runners acutated by a pull type solenoid off of an R.P.M switch.

My question is how hard is it to tune a plenum resonate freqencies, on forced induction?

Is a dual Stage intake manifold beneficial forced induction motor?

Not in my opinion.

The tuned length required changes to much with change in boost.

Also, if it's a turbo, increased volume increases lag.

This has been discussed before in detail. Please do a search so we don't all have to do it all again

Searches did not help me much thats why I made this.

It might have started under plenum volume, but there was quite a bit a year or so ago.

I will have a look when I get some time.
