I'm working on a project for my entry level solidworks class, and I'm quickly finding the project I chose oversteps what I know how to do. I'm trying to make a model of a sandrail frame/chassis. Nothing fancy, with the model being only the frame with no accessories or suspension.

Any help is appreciated

SolidWorks has a specialized tool for Structural Design i.e. Weldments.
You can use the tools of Weldment for sandrail frame/chassis. For more details of the tool you can refer to the link below:
