Guys,
Companies like Swagelok (they call them "tube adapters") often employ a radial cut in the end of tubing to prevent their fittings from being pulled off of tubing at higher pressures. I believe this is more common on harder tube materials that are less likely to deform during the tightening on the ferrule. My question; Does anyone know of a source that makes a device (like a tube cutter) that could be used to make this cut in tubing. I have a coil and one of the last operations is to cut the tubing to length. It makes it difficult to predict the final position for the cut, in order to have it done ahead of time.
Thanks,
Bill
