Trying to Create Sweep with 2 Different Sections 1

I'm trying to create a sweep with 2 different sections in NX 9 (kind of like the Multi-Section tool in Catia). Am I aproaching this wrong? I attached a screenshot and I can attach the actual file if necessary.

Pick your first section curve, then select "add new set" before picking your second section curve (middle mouse will advance to the 2nd set). Make sure the section curve directions align; otherwise the surface will twist.

Very nice, thank you. I don't suppose there's a way to make it tangent to the connecting flange?

I'd suggest creating another curve to define the 4th edge of the new sheet (this will need to be at least tangent to the existing flange edge), then using the "through curve mesh" or "studio surface" command to create the new surface. Either of these commands will allow you to specify a constraint condition (such as tangency) to an existing surface.

Thanks again. I was able to get a smooth transition by re-creating the whole surface using 3 sketches.
