trouble with updateing views in Mechanical Desktop 5.0

I have a rather larger file with about 17 views. When I make changes th the model and try to update my views i get the following error. I have tried audit, recover, and recover desktop.

error; Exception Occurred: 0xC0000005 (access Violation)
ADS Request Error; warning; unwind skiped on hard error

any help would be apreciated
