Hi folks,
someone can suggest me some texts or can explain me the phisical principle of TRIP (Transormation Induced Plasticity) in Steel?
Thanks

The first three links have explanations of the TRIP phenomenon. The last two links are for suppliers who manufacture TRIP steels:

This last link is to the Publications section of the Auto Steel Partnership website. It has a great deal of technical information on steel alloys and processing, and there may be some things on TRIP steels:

Try a little caution here. TRIP steel has been around for many years. It occurs in any steel in which austenite transforms to martensite during deformation. The most common instance of this effect is in plain old 301 stainless steel which uses the effect in forming kitchen cookware, springs, etc, etc.
Be wary of anyone using the term for carbon steel with a modest amount of retained austenite. It can show the effect, but to a very limited degree.
