Our water supply comes from a small lake and the only treatment to it is
chlorination. The THM's are getting close to the max as set out by the
province,(sorry I don't have the value in front of me).
Any suggestions on treating the water to remove the THM 's?
Some have suggested a DAF system, our turbidity levels are 1+ or -.
Other communities have used GAC( granular carbon).
There are about 500 or 600 customers.
Thanks,

Thanks bimr.
Will micro filtration take out the humid acid etc that will lead to THM's. Would GAC still be needed or will the filter take care of it?
Thanks again

The micro filter should remove the humic acid. Review this issue with the micro filter supplier.
