Hi guys:

I'm looking for a material in an application that must be somewhat "stretchy" and spring back, like rubber, but is optically transparent (not translucent). It can be thin and doesn't have to stretch a whole lot, but more than solids like lexan or polycarbonate. Is there such a thing?

There are transparent elastomers. For example, Bayer produces a thermoplastic polyurethane (Desmopan) that is transparent.

Cory
