Translucency based on expression on NX 11 (KF)

I want to achieve the same function as asked about in this thread, but for NX 11: thread561-383030

When I follow the instructions as shared by user AlexLozoya, I get stuck at the "Insert Function" dialog window (01:16 in the Translucency2.avi attachment).

The ug_vd_si_set_translucency function isn't shown in the function list. Is this due to a change between NX 8.5 and 11?
