Any recommendations on CATIA V5 training materials for beginners? My preference would be hard copies as opposed to on-line or electronic.

I am focusing my current efforts on solids and 2d.

I hate to be the one to say this, but this is probably the most commonly asked question around. (definitely in the top 10) It would be prudent to search the forum for this topic. Even more prudent, would be to pay for real, human led instruction.

With any decent training course - which most seem to be - you will hit the ground running. Trying to teach yourself will have you frequenting the various V5 forums, and littering them with repeat posts, asking about basic and frequently performed functions.

Training courses sound very expensive, but the training pays for itself quickly.
