If a TPFE applied steel sheet (less than 1mm diameter) is exposed to a temperature of >327C it will disintegrate quickly with in 2 minutes.
Is there any way that i can prolong disingration time to seven minutes? changing thickness? using some special type?
I want to use it on a consumable which is exposed to >1100C for a short period of time. The reason i would prefer TPFE than ceramic coatings is simply becuse of its ease of procurment. I can buy commercial TPFE sheets but cant find any ceramic coating sheets in that small diameter
