Hi there. I'm using proE Wildfire 2.0 with pro/Mechanism and pro/Mechanica module. I have created a gearbox model, which is simulated nicely with gear connections in pro/Mechanism.

My question is, is there a way to measure the torque of a spinning object in proE. Lets say you have a gear fixed to shaft. You supply a torque load on this gear for say 2 seconds to start it rotating. In my understanding, even after the torque load is no longer applied, the object will still have a torque, because it has mass and inertia. But when I measure the axial moment about the joint, it only gives me values for the 2 second period when the input torque was applied

. This seems totally inconsistent with physics.
