Toroidal coil 1

I wish to make a toroidal coil. I don't know where to start. Is it possible to make a helix sweep through a circle?

It is possible to do this with an arc, but you must use the Sweep command with the Twist option.

Hint:
The cross-section and path are on the same plane.

Also if the path is a full circle the solid will not have any 'ends'.
