I am developing a modified front suspension that requires a custom top strut bearing. Can anyone recommend a company that can work with me on developing this component? My annual requirement will be several hundred to 2000 units.

Thank you,

Are you sure it doesn't exist already?

Hi Fabrico, I'm reasonably sure it does not exist. I am changing the design from a bag-over strut to a coil-over strut, ... so at the minimum I need to add the spring seat.

Still don't know what you are up to, but using a coil spring on a strut is extremely common. The upper spring seat us usually affixed to the strut shaft so it all rotates together. Above that is a flexibly mounted bearing.
