ToolBox Save Part location ???

I don't use a lot of fasteners in my tool designs. I usually just omit them from the assembly. But when I do use them I prefer to save the parts in my actual job folder rather than linked to a toolbox CopiedParts folder. So my question is what is the simplest way to do this?

My Toolbox Settings are Create Parts on Ctrl-Drag. So when working in my assembly I can drag new Fasteners directly from Toolbox with a configuration name or I can control drag, Name the file, and they get inserted and copied to my CopiedParts folder.

But is it possible to control drag and have the parts automatically copied to my job folder. I could go to my Toolbox configuration settings and select my job folder as the default for toolbox parts, but I might forget to change it back for the next job. It's too bad SW doesn't have a 4th option in the Toolbox Configuration Settings that says Save Toolbox Parts to the parent folder of the assembly you are inserting into.

Any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated
Tom

Using Pack and Go when the design is finalised can copy all components into one folder.

CBL, yes I could do that, but wouldn't that break all links and make copies of everything? What happens if I use pack & go with no changes to any of the file names and then check the job back into PDMWorks? I guess all would be ok. Do you agree?

Yes it will make a copy of all components, but the new components and assemblies should remain linked.
The original components and assemblies can be deleted after using Pack and Go.

I don't have access to PDMWorks so cannot answer that part.
