Toe nail load capacity in the F2 direction

Is load allowed in the F2 direction for toenails? See attached diagram.
Its seems in one direction the toe nail with be in tension and the other direction compression. Let me know what you think

Yep. Resolve load into the coordinate system of the nail. Per your arrow, the toenail goes into combined withdrawal and shear, which is pretty normal for a toenail, as @XR250 alluded.
