I'm experimenting with some free software called FreeMind to see whether I can make better to-do lists for myself with it.

Thanks for that, BigInch.

I have on occasion run into people, some in critical path positions, who apparently did their scheduling in exactly that manner, but until you pointed it out I didn't consider that it might be intentional.

So I guess my address book will need a new binary field, "Needs constant prodding to actually do anything".

I can see perhaps up to once per hour, so an Octal base might be more appropriate range of values for the Daily_A_Kicking Function.

It is not unique to Spain. I worked with that guy (or his brother) in New Mexico. He was actually proud of the fact that he kept the entire project "in his head". I said "fine, I keep mine on paper, and the second milestone you miss on this project will be the last". Day 3 I was on an airplane to Tulsa to have a conversation with his boss. His replacement flew back with me. That was 1994 and I recently heard that he still resents me for "ruining his life".

There are those that prefer to hold a grudge, rather than a pencil. Be careful with those types.

For sure its not a problem just here only. Arabic cultures are notorius for the use of "bukara inshala", which we used to say was pretty much the same kinda' thing as manaña, but without the sense of urgency, although Andalucia is pressing me to say which one actually might be the most severe. Of course it could all be because Andalucia was Arabic for the 800 years preceding the arrival of the Spanish. Perhaps its not only the architecture that remained.

Well... said enough. I'm in trouble with everyone now.
