Does anyone have any tips regarding how to constrain and model welds using ANSYS? I am working on a project in which I need to determine the induced thermal stresses in a weld between two dissimilar metals with different coefficients of thermal expansion.

What do you want to calculate? Fatigue life? In this case go to <A HREF=" TARGET="_new"> or ask <A HREF="mailto:christian.gaier@ecs.steyr.com">christian.gaier@ecs.steyr.com</A><br>
Other possibility is <A HREF="mailto:joe@nabi.hu">joe@nabi.hu</A> or <A HREF="mailto:kerekes@nabi.hu">kerekes@nabi.hu</A><br>
