Tips for producing a rotor/stator for a Moineau Pump

Hi Fellow Members

Can anyone please give me some simple tips/instructions for producing a model ofthe helical profile of a rotor/stator for a Moineau pump . Have tried some techniques but never seems to come out looking right .
