I am trying to calculate the stresses due to thermal expansion. I am adding a temperature on the outer lines of my area and want to know the temperature distribution and stresses as a function of time. I have managed to do the temperature distribution as a function of time with help of tutorials from University of Alberta ( but I can't understand how to transfer this to a structural analysis and get the stresses as function of time. Please help me!
