Analysis of hydraulic transients in pressurized systems is more than science is an art.
No one can evaluate solutions without modeling.
The solution for a pair of partial differential equations, initial conditions, and boundary conditions for each scenário.
(considering the specific mass constant.)
Any opinion without proper modeling is just a guess.
The numerical solution involves thousands of calculations, millions eventually. It is a problem of generation, propagation, transmission, and reflection of waves in all physical and geometric discontinuities of the system. Friction is a supervening factor.
It does not matter if the pipe is 6 mm in a satellite or 10 m in diameter in a hydroelectric. The phenomenon follows the same principles.
A solution should only be applied if MODELED by a professional.
