Bonjour , Est-ce que quelqu'un peut me dire dans quel cas ou bien pour répondre à quel besoin on va utiliser
les tailles globales GG et GC ?? ( Voir la norme 14405-1 :2016 )

Hello Adnan,
GG is the "least-squares" method of finding a size. That may be important if you want to control the balance around a center axis. It is not the best method to use for an assembly having a clearance pin and hole, because there may be points that are outside the least-squares circle (for a pin), or inside the least-squares circle (for a hole).
Right now I only have a copy of the 2011 edition and it does not show a GC modifier; that must be new in 2016. A search tells me that it is the "calculated global minimax size."
Perhaps someone else here can explain more about that modifier.

GG " taille globale des moindres carré - Gaussien " existait avec la norme 14405-1 : 2011 ; GC est arrivé avec la version 2016 de la norme 14405 .. Ma question était la suivante : pour quoi les gens des normes ainsi que les industriels ont senti la nécessité d'ajouter le GC qui est effectivement " la taille globale minimax - Chebyshev " .. D'ailleurs c'est l'abrégé de la taille globale Chebyshev ...
