Hello All,
I am having alot of trouble creating this equation to control a thread relief based on what type of thread pitch you have. I am creating this equation in the part without a design table. I cannot use a design table right now because that module is broken. SWX is trying to figure it out as we speak.
Anyways...here is what I have so far: "Thread Relief"= ( ( 1/56*1.5 ) ) Which gives the right dimension for the thread relief. Now what I need to do is tie that to the major diameter of the thread. So that when the thread size increases so does the thread relief. (see the picture link below for more information)
I think I can do this with an IIF statement but cannot seem to get the syntax correct. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
