Can someone explain how to calculate the amount of load required to pull internal threads out of A36 plain carbon steel? Or point me inthe direction of a website that can offer some help.

My current situation:
A36 steel plate 3/4" thick
Grade 5 bolt (1/2-13) with 5/8 depth of thread engagement in the A36 plate. I need to know how much force in lbs-in^2 the threads will hold before failure.

Thanks in advance,
Drake
