how to create the threads in modelling, i don't want cosmetic thread

Hi
there is no seperate command in catia to create threads as we do in Unigraphics (only symbolic thread is available) you have to create manually.

for ex: create cylinder-Insert new body and create helix in GSD Workbench-create solid using rib command and remove the body using Boolean operation
