Thread creation

I'am trying to model a thread form, I have created the helix and the path for the start & finisharound the shaft and the thread cross-section sketch, perpendicular to the helixbut cannot form the start & finish of the thread.When I activate the RIB icon the thread is created around the helix but not around the 'start & finish' (the bits where thread gradually sinks into the shaft)....Hope this makes sense !


Can anyone give simple step by step instruction...Iam a new user.
