It's a Chinese form of socialism... and is working very well.

In the last 75 years they have gone from one of the poorest countries in the world to one of the top. Their retirement age is "China's current retirement age is 60 for men, 55 for women in white-collar jobs, and 50 for working-class women." Does the US even have a retirement plan? Their life expectancy exceeds that of the US and is climbing, not reducing; the US infant mortality rate is higher than Cuba's. Their per capita income has increased several times in the last 40 years, while the US has declined or remained stagnant. I don't see photos of homeless or 'tent' cities... Nearly free healthcare and free education. What's not to like.
Yes, I suppose it's working quite well.... Economically. It's a totalitarian form of Capitalism.

Unless you're one of the Uyghurs who are in concentration camps and used for slave labor.

If Hitler had decided to stop with the greater German region (Germany, Rhineland, Austria), Slovakia, Czechoslovakia, and Poland, then that form of fascism would have gone quite well for the German people... Unless you were Jewish.

Note that there were LOTS of people who were desperate to leave Germany because of the lack of rights and the totalitarianism. Same thing with China. There are LOTS of people that want to leave.

In the post above with the dik quote, dik points to exactly what the whole of the climate subject was invented for, and why it is being geoengineered to support the invention.

If human caused climate change is global why would the flooding be concentrated in Texas?
Um, I live in Central NC. Chantal f'ed us pretty badly. 1:1000 year flooding. I think the US has 1:1000 year flooding 4 times in one week.

A funny thing about the 1:1000 year events is that the conditions that cause them don't necessarily go away immediately so you should expect to see a cluster of such events despite them being 1/1000.
