Dear members,
I have problems thickening some quilts in my model.Would you please send your comments.Best regards and thanks in advance.(I use wf4)2010-11-14_101647_o_t_69.prt.rar

There is a gap where the 2 surfs running verticle meet the triangular surfaces. Fix those gaps, merge all surfs into 1 quilt and your thicken should work like you want.

Dear Krow 72,
You are right.I saw the gap but couldn't fix them. Please inform me about the way to fix them.
Best regards and thanks

I typically tell surfacing students not to use thicken but to instead merge so you can solidify then shell the geometry. In this way your plastic parts will saw off at the parting line appropriately. I only use thicken to see if the surface merges will offset.
