My Dears,

NIST Monograph provides thermocouple tables that relate emf in mv with the temperature in C.
These tables are implemented based on equations in the form of:

E = C0+ c1t+c2t(2)+....+cn t(n)

We can find thermocouples tables in ASTM E230 and IEC60584-1

I want to know, what is the origin standard for these equations, is it NIST or ITS90?

Thank you

I believe that the NIST data was the original basis for this, some of this data is very old.
