Hi,
I am doing thermal structural couple filed analysis of plate during welding. I am using single database with thermal and structural physics. I have done thermal analysis. How can I put the thermal load on structural analysis.
I am using LDREAD command for structural analysis for applying thermal load on the structural plate, but main issue is that in structural analysis temperature during cooling will be the thermal load. Because during heating cycle temp. of the base material increase as well as stress applied on it. however when the material melt stress will not be on the base material. so i am considering the stress during cooling.
Can anyone please help me how can I define the above problem in APDL.
