Hi, wondering if anyone can help me with this - new to using Abaqus for thermal simulation and I am struggling to get the correct model.
What I am trying to achieve is a cavity with walls/surfaces of a certain initial temperature (180 degC) and the cavity filled with hot gas (air for now @ 800 degC).
However when I put in my B.C's for the walls the hot air has no effect and the results just show the model temperature of 180 degC all over.
any advice is greatly appreciated / also if I am going about this incorrectly please just shout! n.b. I have done the convection by adding Instance -> Surface film condition -> making the sink T = to 800 degC.
