I just saw this item and while I don't really care about the singer that the QR code leads to, I tried it anyway just to see if it worked. And it did...

As with bitly URLs, there's some risk with randomly scanning QR codes, since there are reports that malicious actors will place QR codes that lead to phishing and other bad sites.
