text boss or etch on a round surface?

I need to show a text label on a rounded surface, like if you were to label a piece of round bar with the mill info. It would be on the rounded surface of the bar.

Anyway I'm pretty sure I have heard that Solid Edge can do this, but I can't figure out how.

If anyone could help me here it would be great.

Hi,

here is one example (as a cutout):

Text on Round

but take warning: it will have a severe impact on performance
in case the textstring is wide or you have a lot of them
in one part ...
