I am involved in testing hydraulic tubing system (design pressure = 3000psi).
I have tested two sections individually.
I plan to join these two sections with JIC fittings.
Can anyone advise if I may do a "service leak test" of the system with pressure provided by the hydraulic system (ie the test pressure would be approx. 3000psi rather than 1.1 x design pressure).

Never mind the 1.0x, even the 1.1x sounds like a bad idea to me... but it's not my system, and I have no idea why you're testing it.

What does your contract require?
