As a reference I use the ASM Int STeCal program for predicting heat treat (hardening) profiles for given user-input steel chemistries.

Can someone suggest a similar program / calculator that can generate time - temperature curves predicting the tempering of a given user-inputable steel chemistry.

Regards,
Doug

I did a quick search using Scirus and only found one paper titled Neural Network in Predicting Steel Properties Artificial Neural Networks as a Tool in Predicting Mechanical and Thermal Properties of Steels

Authors; I.Zmak and T. Filetin

I also checked the web site below that probably has one of the most comprehensive material algorithms databases.

I would also check with ASM or even TMS, if they don't know of a program you can purchase, sounds like a good PhD project.
