We use 1144SP as shaft/stud material for products we manufacture.
The normal recommended operating temperature range for these products is -30 to 250 degrees F.
We want to offer a high-temperature line of these products that will have operating tempertures up to 400 degrees F.
Will the mechanical properties of the 1144SP be changed such that I need to be concerned about modifications to the load ratings?
Shaft/stud diameters range from 1/2" to 4".
