Hi,

I am new here and new to industry. I would just like to ask what is the best practice for mounting temperature transmitter located in pump or in pump discharge. Will there be no problem if the transmitter is head mounted? or a remote mounted transmitter is best practice? and what are the technical reasons why remote mounted or head mounted transmitter is best suited for this application. Will vibration in pump can cause erroneous reading by transmitter?

FYI.. the project specification requires a integral mount transmitter to lessen the use of support. trasnsmitter type is electronic (rosemount 644 or 248).

Thanks and Best Regards...
