Hi all,

We have a component that has been sent to us in .iges from a supplier. Bringing it into SW is no problem but a few of the surfaces don't match (quite a complex piece). Anyway SW can't heal them so there is a constant warninng "!" in the part.

Is there any way to tell SW to ignore it? Its a pain having the warning appear in sub assemblies and assemblies where the part appears.

Don't want to spend the time to manually attempt a fix, not worth the time and is not important.

If there is an error on a translated part, then your best fix is to fix it and not ignore it. SW cannot hide an error, only thing you can do is stop the error window from coming up when you do a rebuild. You get that option when that window pops up.

Hi,
IGES was never any good anyway. Ask your supplier for STEP or parasolid (x_t) files. You will do better.

Hope it helps
