Hello All,

Can anyone assist me to define a tariff rate for structural fabrication and erection for ladders and warehouse structures in Tonnage and Liner Meter if possible.

I have come across a client who requested tariff rate for structural steel fabrication in Liner Meter. [neutral]

Many thanks in advance,

Nizam...

It'll vary significantly by area. If you don't know, then call up some local fabricators and see if they have an idea on cost. If you're involved at the bidding or fab stage, take a look back at a couple of recent projects and work out a cost/tonne value that you could use for this. If that doesn't work then you can likely take a look at the RS Means books and use their values with the appropriate modifications for location and cost index. If the books look too expensive, check to see if they have them in your library system.

Costing items like handrails and ladders per lineal meter is pretty standard.
